One of the most amazing things a smartphone can do is letting the user watch YouTube videos on the go, it is amazing how a Nokia E71 or E71x can replace a computer so well, and watching YouTube videos is one of the things that was difficult to do on a smartphone because YouTube did not support mobile devices and mobile devices did not support the Flash plugin requiered to watch YouTube. Well, not anymore! YouTube and Google launched silently a client for the Nokia E71 and E71x to watch YouTube videos on the go, this free client allows you to do anything you normally do on YouTube on your computer, but on your mobile device. All from searching, subscribing, watching and rating videos without the need of a computer!
YouTube is also a very nice addition to the E71’s entertainment options, anyone who used YouTube knows that it is lots of fun, and it gets even better when you have it right on your E71! The Nokia E71 is probably the most elegant device by Nokia, it is pure business and elegance in one slim metal body. If you like to change frequently the themes on your Nokia E71 or E71x, like me, you probably tried almost every color possible. And in my opinion the Black Dark is the best color a theme can have for the Nokia E71 because it just makes the E71 look more elegant! There are themes, and there are premium themes for the E71. The difference is the time and effort that a premium theme takes to create than a normal theme. Premium themes have custom icons and exclusive graphics made by expert graphic designers, itt is the best of the best.
One of my favorite ”Premium” themers, Tehkseven, has created a full featured premium theme for the E71 and E71x, he created a whole new set of icons for every application! Anyway, the theme has Tehkseven’s particular Glass touch that makes everything look very cool and modern, it is a dark grey blue theme that inspires elegance, hence, the ”Prestige” name for the theme, the icons are ”Seven” icons that as I said, he specially made for the theme. The Nokia E71 is one elegant device, the construction design and look of the phone is very elegant, classic from Eseries devices that are designed for business people who of course wear suits and need an elegant phone! But the E71 is also a fancy device, looks like a device for the rich people because it has style and looks just awesome, this theme I found today is also a fancy theme, I think it is very good for ladies ot just anyone. The great S60 Themer, Tehkseven, just released an excellent Premium theme for the Nokia E71 and E71x, it is called Glass Prestige and it looks amazingly well on the Nokia E71, it has shades of dark blue and has a very special touch of ”glass” that makes the E71 look more glassy and shiny than what it already is! This theme is just one of the best ones out there, the E71 looks ridiculously well on the Glass Prestige theme from Tehkseven it can’t be true! The also very well known bug on the E71 with the calendar icon, is fixed on the Glass theme and everything works 100% fully tested. We all agree that the Nokia E71 is a very expensive device, I almost paid $400us for my E71 and as I paid so much for it, I do my best to keep the E71 in the best condition possible, I always try not to drop it or put it in my bag or pockets with coins etc… that could scratch it. But unfortunately it is almost impossible to avoid a scratch on a dedvice we all use almost all day long, my E71 was clean of scratches and dents the first two months, but now I have dropped it twice and it got one bad scratch and other minor scratches around the screen. As I really wanted to keep my E71 working as new and without scratches or dents, I first used the leather case that came with it but it did not work. I used it for 3 days and I just got tired of it because it added weight to my pockets and I had to get the E71 out every time I wanted to do something, on top, it was not helping since my E71 got scratched a little bit because of the friction and small particles that got caught between the E71 and the leather case.
I then searched for a solution and I found a pretty good one! It is invisible Shield and works just as the name says, it is an invisible virtually indestructible film that covers the whole E71 and it is just like an ”Invisible shield” because you don’t feel it is there, so no weight or lame cases, but it is still protecting your device from scratches and dents! The best part is that later you can take it off and either archive your E71 looking brand new or selling it for a good price since it still looks like new. With the release of the new Nokia touchscreen phones, Nokia aldo redesigned the icons to make them look more updated and better. The new icons are the Nokia Touch icons and I am totally in love with them, they look totally awesome in the Nokia E71 or E71x and definitively look better than the old icons. This new pack of touch icons themes for the Nokia E71x and E71 are really hard to find since the Nokia Touch icons are very new, and I always wanted an all white theme for my E71 like the one I currently use but with the new Nokia touch icons for the E71. And after searching for hours I came up with this beautiful white theme for the E71 and E71x with touch icons. The Nokia E71 and E71x have very nice cameras, they have 3.2 Megapixels, Flash and Autofocus, the results annd pictures are most of the times very cool and with nice quality, but sometimes you never get those pictures out of your device because lack of time or you just forget. Thats the problem I always had, I take really nice pics with my E71 but then I never transfer them to my PC and ultimately, they always get lost. But Nokia launched a very cool software for the E71x and E71 that will avoid that and will make your E71 a better imaging device. It is called Imge Exchange and so far I am loving it, with this application for the E71x or E71, you can do more here is how it works. Normally, when you take a picture the device just saves it to the device memory, but with this app your device transfers automatically and immediatly all the pictures you take to both your E71 and to your OVI account! And they are synchronized, so when you delete a picture in your E71x, the application will delete it on your account too, so with this application you can automatically synchronize the media from your E71 and your PC. With this app you won’t ever loose a picture again because they will be transfered to your OVI profile immediately, with this app you can also comment and see the pictures of your friends and other people.
