If you have an E71 you have to see and try this app for yourself if you haven’t already. This app is Nokia Messaging; the most useful app ever. Nokia Messaging is not a new app, it has been around for a long time, but still there are many people that don’t know about this one. Well, you have been missing a lot!
Imagine if you could have your Desktop email client on your Nokia E71, a full featured email client with access to all your folders, files and saved emails; but most importantly HTML email. Well, this is exactly what Nokia Messaging is, a desktop email client for your Nokia E71. With Nokia Messaging you can have access to all your folders on your email account, and emails get to your device immediately after the sender sent the email, and better, you can see them in html format, and order them by date, sender and many more.
Nokia Messaging is a great app, and is free at the moment. You can go ahead and use Nokia Messaging for free here: Nokia Messaging

Don’t you have access to GMail?
If you haven’t heard of it, it’s this magical program by Google that allows you to see mail – even in magical HTML format. And it works on ANY DESKTOP WITH A BROWSER. (No additional software required.)
Really, Nokia messaging is a dead end and the fact that Nokia is spending resources on duplicating existing functionality – AND doing it poorly – is the reason I switched from E71 to an iPhone.
When Nokia realized they are a phone company and their PHONE software matches the quality of the hardware, then I will own a Nokia device. But as long as they continue to churn out heavy clients that clutter up my Windows box, no thank you.
Can somebody please answer this?
Does E71x can do push email on Wifi - I mean without data plan?
I know it can connect to internet using Wifi without data plan but I am not sure push email works without data plan.
Thank You
well, I have tried to install Nokia Messaging in my E71. But for some reason, after the installation and after the adding of email addresses, I still see the shortcut link “add email address” in my home screen. It’s quite annoying and takes up space for my other notification in the home screen. Can you please advice me on what to do to remove this link from my home screen?
Cheers
