Main difference of these email clients is its nature. If you are using corporate emails use Mail for Exchange otherwise Nokia Messaging. Well, of course is not a magical app, but it is pretty unbelievable and amazing. This app is Point and Find, a Nokia operated service that is available worldwide. Nokia Point and Find is a very advanced app, is the kind of app that lets everyone speechless but Nokia doesn’t get marketing out of it, a thing Apple does and knows how to do very well.

You could always check out software for newer models, such as Nokia E73 themes.

Basically point and find, finds information about things you point to with your E71s camera. For example, a movie poster; just point with the E71 to the movie poster and your E71 will identify the movie and the will sshow you the trailer and movie times near you. But no only that, when shopping you can just point your E71 to the barcode of a product and your E71 will recognize it and show you the lowest price online; a pretty amazing feature. But the coolest one is with sights, lets say you are in the Eifflel Tower in Paris, just point at it and your E71 will tell you everything about it; it works with most historical structures. Shazam is really useful since finding the name of an unknown song is really difficult. And I have to say that the app is totally amazing, it recognized even really unknown songs that I thought it would never recognize! The Shazam app is free at the moment, but there are rumors about a future charge for this great app. Anyway, you can download this app at the Ovi Store: Download Shazam.

In the N97, Ovi Contacts comes with the latest update, so I started using it. Ovi Contacts is a messenger for Nokia devices, more or less like the Blackberry Messenger for Nokia phones. With Ovi Contacts you can chat with friends using supported Nokia phones, or friends using Google Talk. Ovi Contacts allows you to chat anytime anywhere with all your friends and family, definitively very very useful. With Ovi Contacts you can also do other things, for example send your location to someone that then can use Nokia Maps to reach you easily.  You can also update your status like on Facebook or Twitter and share the song to which you are listening to on your Nokia device at that moment. The cool thing about Ovi Contacts is that is has an option to start the app when the phone starts, so you are always available to chat and vice-versa. You can also choose an avatar and nickname.

Still the bad thing about Ovi Contacts, and Blackberry Messenger has the same problem, is that you need a Nokia device for it to work. Almost every S60 device is compatible, of course the E71 is included. And I have to say the E71 is a great phone to use Ovi Contacts in because of the keyboard. Here you can get Ovi Contacts: NBL

But the big improvement was made on the Google Maps application, the new ”Layers” were added making Google Maps even better.  Layers shows users layers of information to the user, for example traffic&incident reports and points of interest. But definitively the coolest Layer is the Wikipedia one that gives you information about the place you are in at that moment. Not to mention you can create your own layers from your PC and then see them on your Nokia E71 using Google Maps.

Google Apps are awesome, but unfortunately they don’t let the users know when there is a new version. To update the apps you have to download them again by going to the mobile Google site and hitting ”more” than Maps, YouTUbe and Search by separate.

Gravity is no doubt, the coolest and best Twitter client out there for Nokia phones. Unfortunately, is is not free! The other option is Dabr.co.uk, but it is not quite and application, is just a website.

So that leaves place for the perfect Twitter client, TweetS60. It is free, unlike Gravity, and it is a client unlike Dabr. I have been using TweetS60 because it is free of course, and does its job pretty well. You can check out TweetS60 at the Ovi Store: TweetS60
