We have now our Nokia E71 and E71x forum running and there you can now post your questions and feel free to discuss reviews regarding the Nokia E71 games, applications, accessories and many more stuff.

As we are just releasing the forum, we decided to make a contest: The person who posts the most in the forum until 5th July, will win a Snake Deluxe 2 game. A good way to start posting is by answering tenorplayer23 who has some questions regarding the Nokia E71 vs Nokia E71x. See this quote below:

1) My first question is – WHAT can the E71x do on the AT&T network that the unlocked E71 NAM can’t? What are the most significant advantages of using the E71 NAM on the AT&T network. I see reference to being able to take advantage of 3G system speeds with the E71x. Not with the E71 NAM???

2) There is a great deal of discussion about which “data or PDA” plan to use with either phone on AT&T, as well as, the use of Wifi, which both phones have. Having looked at AT&T pricing, I see the $15 difference. However, I’m not sure what each plan variant gives you exactly “what” with the E71x and E71, respectively. Can you clarify?

3) And, subsequently, how does Wifi affect the choice of one or the other of these plans? I understand that you can use Wifi with the phone in hotspots (or on a home wireless network, for that matter).

4) EMAIL: I understand that you can access web based mail via the internet obtained by accessing Wifi or through the repective AT&T plan. For email from my ISP POP3 account (or corporate exchange, but more importantly, the former) how do the E71x and E71 NAM with the respective AT&T data plans work? Claification of this will probably also clarify data plan selection AND influence the financial decision about which phone to purchase.

5) Finally, since I have had CDMA phones for a long time, how does the actual discussion with AT&T go to obtain the requisite SIM card and month to month phone pla, if you have the unlocked Nokia E71 NAM, to get the optimum use of the phone with their network capabilities?

If you could help with clarifications with these specific questions, I’d greatly appreciate it. Their not intuitive necessarily to a relatively experienced user.

Yesterday while watching Hulu I watched a prettu funnt TV telling me there was a ”Downlodable Game” available for my mobile phone, it is from Malibu Rum. Anyway, I went to their website and downloaded the game. It is free bowling game and I found it is pretty awesome! First, this bowling game is 100% compatible with your Nokia E71, and it is lots of fun. You can choose between a watermelon or a coconut to bowl with and in many fun scenarios likie a tiki-bar and an aquarium. But the most fun part is that you can play with a friend, it is a multiplayer game so you can just have a bowling match with a friend, it works pretty well. If you ever played with an iPhone you probably also know about the AppStore, it lets thee users easily get free and pay applications on the iPhone without the need of a computer. The good news is that if you were wanting that for your Nokia E71, it is now available! Nokia released the Ovi Store, the Ovi Store is an awesome portal for both your computer and your phone where you can download free and pay applications. The Ovi Store is fully compatible with the E71, Nokia also promised that in the near future, S60 devices coming from ATT would come with the Ovi Store built-in and with operator billing service.

The Ovi Store is great, is the thing that Nokia needed to compete with the iPhone and Apple, I played around with the Ovi Store for a while and I still don’t know if I like it or not. You can try Ovi Store in your Nokia E71 in two ways. You can go to : Store.Ovi.Com, on your E71 and computer, or you can download the Ovi Store Appliccation to your device. Just search it in the Download! app of your E71, the location changes between operators, but search it in the Apps first because it is more likely to be there. I just found a very interesting game for the Nokia E71, it is a numeric game that is made to train your mind. It is called Sudoku. Remember that the brain is a muscle and we have to train it! With this little game you will be able to train your mind while you are bored waiting for something or while in line. I tried it and is very amusing. The rules of the game are simple. Just to make sure no number is repeated every row, column and region. You can use the pencil mark to help you to solve the puzzles. Enjoy!

The first game I load in my Nokia devices is the Ball game, I don’t know exactly its name becasue I downloaded a while ago. I always load this game on all my Nokia devices because I love it, is very addictive and its a simple game that makes everyone who plays it addicted. I wanted to share and you should really give it a try, I am sure you will like it too.

The game is not actually an application, is not even an installation. It is a flash file, you have to download it by clicking the link below and then save it somewhere you remember. Then using the file manager in the Office folder you locate the file and open it. Or if you are using your PC you can download the file and then using the USB cable, the Bluetooth or sending yourself an email, you transfer it to your phone somewhere you remember and open the file.
