We already brought you the good news about the new firmware update for the Nokia E71, but what we did not know about this firmware update is that is improved the quality of the E71 camera! Before the update, the Nokia E71 had a camera that produced a purple tint all over the picture. The camera was excellent outdoors but was fairly bad indoors, when the objective was poorly lighted. But seems that the camera was updated with the new firmware, and now the purple tint is gone! The best part is that there are pictures to demonstrate it, here is the ”before”

Any idea when the North American update is going to be rolled out?
There is NO changes made to the picture quality from firmware 210.21.006 to 300.21.012. No point upgrading. You risk losing your SMS messages and email if you upgrade from a hacked phone to the latest firmware. No way of getting them back. Not even PC Suite backups
I have update my E71 from version 200. to 300. …. version, its cool, but i not feel any differents only some programs added as builtin like, myspace, facebook and youtube, but in other side i have lost my nokia multiscanner, Wireless presenter etc.. Now i have to install it seperately. After this device upgradation, i cannot make setup for nokia messaging service for E71, I installed it thru their sms link and via email.nokia.com both.
