Nokia released the Ovi Store, the Ovi Store is an awesome portal for both your computer and your phone where you can download free and pay applications. The Ovi Store is fully compatible with the E71, Nokia also promised that in the near future, S60 devices coming from ATT would come with the Ovi Store built-in and with operator billing service.
The Ovi Store is great, is the thing that Nokia needed to compete with the iPhone and Apple, I played around with the Ovi Store for a while and I still don’t know if I like it or not. You can try Ovi Store in your Nokia E71 in two ways. You can go to : Store.Ovi.Com, on your E71 and computer, or you can download the Ovi Store Appliccation to your device. Just search it in the Download! app of your E71, the location changes between operators, but search it in the Apps first because it is more likely to be there. I feel I have been scammed getting this E71x.. first of all this was suppose to come qwith Quickly offce..not a trial. Their usb wont work cause my laptop doesn’t back compatible with my usb1 i tried to go and register 13 times on the ovi site..wont work. Before I return to get back a wm 6.1 Epix how can i get this thing to work…appreciate any insite.. Stan
I don’t have the E71x Stan, but I think unlocked devices are the only way to get the full Nokia experience. If I were you, I would go and return the E71x, then buy an e71, E75 or N97 in Amazon.
There is no download option or icon to download ovi store! Where is it?

depending where you are, i think its not available everywehre, im in canada and its not available yet
On mine, if you go Menu > Installations > App. mgr. and select “Download apps.”, it then gives you the option of going to the ovi store.
