The Nokia E71 currently has 2 main versions, the European/Asian and the NAM for USA customers. But seems there will be another E71 for USA , it is the Nokia E71x for ATT and will have special features that the current E71 lacks. First and most important it will be running S60 Feature Pack 2 which is newer and better than the previous Feature Pack 1, the E71x actually will be the only E71 running Feature Pack 2 and that is a little bit disappointing for E71 users since we all want Feature Pack 2 on our smartphones. I would like to see an update for the current E71s to the Feature Pack 2, it would be really useful and Nokia would show a lot of support for users after buying the device.

Other differences is that the GPS of the E71x probably will be locked to ATT and Nokia Maps might not be there, anyway, the Nokia E71x will be available starting 24th of March for $199.00 us. [Via: NokiaMobileBlog]
